We were at Canandaigua Lake when Carol took my picture. We spend a lot of time coming here just to sit and watch all the boats in and out of the pier. We also go to a lot of hot air balloon festivals during the summer and fall months. The best is at the Adirondack Balloon Festival in Glens Falls, NY. We spend 4 days here with weather permitting there is 4 days of balloon lift offs at the Crandall Park in Glens Falls then the Moonglow at Lake George Beach Street Area along with a 1/2 hour of fireworks and a parade during the day. The most activity is at the Floyd Bennett Airport where about 100 balloons lift off in the morning and the evening at 6:00 on both Friday & Saturday and just a morning launch on Sunday. We also enjoy going to the Oswego Harborfest in late July. This is at the inner harbor with a carnival lots of boats and people. We spend a lot of time during the summer months just traveling from place to place at all of the events. 2004 looks like a busy year.
